The Sunday after the night before and boy did we feel the pain. Even though we were up early we couldn't manage to start the surfari road trip to North Devon until mid afternoon.

But after painkillers and coffee I got us down to Braunton by 7.30 and we were eating Squires fish and chips with mushy peas on the dunes at Saunton for sunset - today's blip

After deciding it wasn't best to camp in the van in the Christies Estate car park we drove round to the Putsborough carpark for the night - a far better pitch looking out over the sea for sure.

Just wonderful to go to sleep / wake up with the sounds and sights of the sea and hardly any other bugger about.
