Begonia

This is Begonia 'Mother's Day'. I bought it at half price several weeks after Mother's Day had passed and planted the corms in the lovely pink pot (supplied with it) and placed it near the patio doors to give it lots of light and warmth. I tended it and watered it carefully until the first leaves had formed. I then placed it in one of my patio pots to continue its adventures outdoors. And now, despite one attack of slugs, it is looking beautiful as it starts to send up these most beautiful pink flowers... perhaps there is a hint of green in my fingers after all.
