Up high
A day for tree adventures, kids were climbing one (extra), but thankfully they were no where near as high as this guy. Gave me the collywobbles just watching him.
Out for a good stretch of our legs before heading to the airport to get Arnie checked in and on his way. The queue at passport control was the longest I have ever seen but he said it only took 30 minutes so not too bad.
Home for a lovely welcome from the hooligans who were waiting for their supper. A bit extra chicken went down well as a wee treat.
I have a busy day planned for tomorrow. Folk coming to clean windows, something I still haven’t mastered successfully, and a crew to strip back the bottom section of the garden that has gone a bit wild as a result of all the rain we had in the summer. The grass down there is almost nonexistent as it’s been in the shade for so long.
Hopefully they can give the paperbark some room to breathe and open a spot for Soul to plant another fever tree to replace the one we had that was struck by lightning, twice! Will try to remember to do some before and after pics.
