Fairy Tale Castle
Chatting with Mike on our way out on the Lula walk about how I worry that my Blips make our life seem wonderful, more wonderful than it really is, but how, on the other hand, maybe our lives are all more wonderful than we really appreciate most of the time. (Not folk in Sudan or Palestine, but most of us here on Blip.) And how everyone's life has hard parts and ugly bits. (For example, the fresh human poo on our Lane as we walked back.) But that I will continue to focus on the good and the beautiful and the worthy of praise.
And then, looking up and seeing this magical scene, like something out of a fairy tale - the road a knight on a white horse would ride up to visit the beautiful princess in her castle. (Or, of course, could be a princess on a brown horse - see extra - after a good gallop around her fields.)
Gratefuls:
- a slightly cooler day, almost pleasant tonight
- a day clearing up and catching up and not going anywhere
- always, the beauty
And a Happy Birthday to both my Mum's twin sister (96 today; Mum died at 84), and to her oldest grandson, Leyna's son, Daniel).
