Soldiers

Finally made it home after a long journey home. I had to drive as hubby had a gout flare up and couldn’t bend his knee. Most annoying and very painful for him. He’s not had a problem for a couple of years, so it was a very unwelcome surprise. 

Took a walk around the garden when we got home and we have lots and lots of soldier beetles on the plants, especially the Astrantia. Apparently they are harmless to humans and feed on aphids, so they can stay as long as they like :)
