Day One of Orthodontic treatment

She was nervous when we arrived at the Dental Hospital. She listened carefully to the instructions she was given and has coped amazingly well today with her first brace.

Although she was slurping and gagging as we left the hospital, by the end of the day, her mouth was drier and her speech clear. This brace will be used to push her back teeth backwards, but at the moment, it's just there to get accustomed to. It will be activated on her next visit in October.

The evening was manic. Clothes everywhere, as we are holiday packing. My OH kept sighing and saying that we would never get all the clothes in our 3 suitcases, but we did, with room to spare!
