Just be patient

I bought this ginger plant last year when it had pretty flowers and it died after the blooms were gone. I thought.

I set the pot on the porch where I keep empty pots and gardening supplies. It was in the shady part with no sunlight all winter and spring. A week ago I was looking for something and saw green. I got it to the partial sunshine area and gave it water with plant food.

It wasn’t dead Just waiting. I sure hope it gets some flowers!
