Buff-tailed bumblebee on lavender

This morning I went to art then did some work in the garden where I took the photo.  Everywhere is so dry and desperate for rain  It should be wet at the weekend if the forecast is correct.

If she'd lived, my mum would have been 99 years old today. Here she is on her last birthday.
