Nuthatch

There are at least two families of theses red breasted Nuthatches being fed from this feeder. There is a nice little red Japanese Maple tree close by, and when one parent from one family is collecting food to take back to the nest, another parent from another family sits in the Maple, heckling. Should two decide to eat at the same time , there is a fight! The noise is constant, because these little birds are fussy about what they want from the feeder, seeds fly in all directions while selections are being made. In the meantime the parent in the Maple tree is yelling," Hurry up, my kids are starving" this goes on, and on, and on. They tire me out, with their energy.
