Newcastle Downunder

Pinks and pastels

There was some colour to the East.  I had parked at the baths and got my blip and then took Maggy for a walk down to Dixon Park where she disgraced herself and pinched two other dogs balls (you know the plastic sort) which I then had to wrench out of her mouth.   On our way back we ran into two goldies being walked by their mums.  It was a goldie fest.  They go absolutely crazy when they see other goldies.  Such breed snobs.  And then, another one arrived and it was bedlam.

Today we had our end of financial year lunch at work at a restaurant I haven't been to.  The food was absolutely delicious but I am stuffed to the gunnels or as my friend J says ''filled to pussy's bow'.  I will definitely be going back.  But as we finished lunch at about 4.30pm I was able to go home and get Maggy and get a daylight blip on a work day.  Hooray for the little things.  Do you know, the sun is setting a full 4 minutes later than on the solstice.   Happy Days.   And as you can see, we even had some blue skies today but the seas are still wild.
