Brollied

I needed a few things in Edinburgh so got the bus up town. I met friends waiting on the bus so it was lovely to chat to them. They were away to a gallery to see a Kenny Hunter exhibition. Apparently he’s a sculptor. I’d never heard of him.
By the time we’d reached Edinburgh it was pouring and I wasn’t dressed for the rain. Got soaked going to John Lewis so I bought a brolly. The assistant said that was all he had sold all morning!
Met G for a quick lunch then home to Pippa. Soaked again on the walk home from the bus. Pippa decided she didn’t want a walk until it stopped raining. I got a text to say our new sofas are arriving on Friday morning so that’s good news. Bad news is I got an email about my pension but it said nothing of any use at all. They are useless just a lot of waffle which tells me nothing. I’ll be emailing them back tomorrow! More great tennis again this afternoon.
