12(ish!!) Roses to say...

...thank you to all you lovely blippers for all your kind words of support over the last 12 years, especially throughout the last few difficult months. Through blip I've made new friendships, both virtual and in person, and enjoyed travelling around the globe with you through your journals.  You've kept me in touch with the outside world, and helped to keep me sane! Blippers are the best!!

Normally I'd have done something a little more creative for a big blipday but it's been another crazy day, after another sleepless night (the heat and barking dogs). After doing three loads of laundry, took the bus into Bath to buy a pair of shoes (that I've already decided will be returned), then took a second bus up to the hospital to visit Dad where, after chasing various bods for info, I learned that his knee had deteriorated further and his discharge date has also been pushed back further. My hopes for my trip to Germany this weekend are slowly fading...

Yesterday it took me 15mins to get home, today it took me 1hr 15mins on the bus, thankfully cooler though, only 22 degrees. Back home it was on with the chores, the most essential of which I've managed to tick off, in preparation for tomorrow. The internet is working this evening, though at the pace of the slowest snail in existence. I don't have the time or energy to do anything about it at the mo though.

Thank you so much for your kind words, stars and hearts for yesterday's rainbow of hearts. As hospital's go, the RUH is a very colourful place with gardens full of beautiful flowers and lovely artwork throughout.
