Clouds on the hill.

Drove to Tillicoultry through showers to meet Linda and Margaret for lunch.  It was a nice meet up as usual. with what looked and sounded like a monsoon going on outside. Gave Margaret an adjustable stick which I never use  but which sounds like one she fancied. She's been visiting gardens in the Chester area and feels her walking has deteriorated so much she may not go on taht kind of holiday again/.Linda has been in London visiting her sons and grandchildren. Stopped at Loch Leven's Larder on the way home and bought some food and a bottle of wine. of which I had a glass once home. I really seem to have gone off the stuff. I think it will take a while to sink in.
