Common Gulls

I went down to check the colony this morning. Unfortunately most of the gulls have gonne with about 10 hanging around. This is the only nest I could see and it is the edge of the colony on the sea wall. I love the chick peeping out. Extra of chick being cheeky and asking for food.

I did most of a days work at my desk but was feeling tired so gave up at 3pm and did some light gardening before sitting in the sun. Trying to get the house organised for the chaos that Monday may bring.
