Overload!

I've had such a stressful day! It started well, albeit it was a 7:30am start, in the summer holidays-ouch! Snapped a few pictures as it was bright and sunny. I got up early as I didn't know when/if builder was coming, so had a lovely bath and hairwash in my tub, and throughly cleaned my bathroom. All before 10am- go me! I was quite happy pottering about getting ready, as my house looks gorgeous in the light. The gardeners turned up and trimmed the lawn too.

The builder sent his mate to come and do said jobs at about 2pm. 3 hours later we were just about done! He took a long time to put my coat hooks up, and it was very stressful! Unfortunately it took the perfectionist in me an hour to clean up, but the crowning touch was being able to get all my coats off of the sofa :-) Unfortunately he needs to come back tomorrow to finish grouting, which is stressing me out, as I'm going on holiday and it's the last thing you need when you're trying to get organised and get out the door! I'm not exactly relishing the idea of doing a repeat clean-up either. He promised he'd come first thing, so I'm hoping he'll make good on his promise....

We have to leave our little doggy tomorrow :-( After much deliberation, we have decided to leave him with a dog sitter during the day so that he can have the company of other dogs, and then go home in time for his supper! Going to miss him so much!
