Bus Pass Walk

3 buses out and 3 buses back today. Walked from Kildwick (stopping at the canal side cafe for refreshments of course!) and then onto Silsden using the stretch of towpath which was closed off last time we came this way. Instead of having lunch in Silsden we went straight for a bus which was due in 2 minutes, and went back to Keighley then on to Bingley. Lunch taken in The Loft - lovely salad - this time with halloumi and peaches.  Back home to the village - buses linked up really well today. Nice to see my favourite dog on the bus and have a chat to the owner. I regularly see them when I go shopping and get the bus home. The young man who owns Patch takes him out for hours to walk and play with his toys in the park, but I haven't seen them recently as he has been going out very early because of the heat. Patch is beautifully looked after and such a good natured dog. Photo today is of the towpath and bridge approaching Kildwick Church. In extras we saw some ducks with a lone duckling, and came across the Piano Barge.
