Cooling down

Mabel doesn’t normally get in water. Billie jumps into water at every opportunity and won’t get out unless you call her out. So a mark of a hot hot day, is Mabel doing this. I was glad for her.

I got home and set to work on house things. I did some more gardening, stripped beds and got 3 loads done, popped to the garden centre briefly, and finally cleared the remaining plastic boxes that were in the snug. All sorted. I needed to move Elbow’s work stuff into the office too, now that MightyMouse is all finished with revision.

We’re also planning to have neighbours over for an afternoon tea so I delivered invites that Dot.T had wonderfully designed for us. I’ve posted them through 23 doors so I hope some accept the invite and come. I guess that’s partly why I wanted to spend time gardening.

A good Grow Group this evening. Encouraging to have a few ‘visitors’.
