Rain over Hoy

They say in Orkney that after the County Show the winter starts. Well we had County Show last weekend and the weather has certainly turned.

The wind got worse as the weekend progressed and it's been blowing a hoolie today. Then tonight, one minute the Hills of Hoy were bathed in sunshine and the next a mass of heavy, soaking rain poured in down Hoy Sound.

And by the time we finished our round of golf? The sunshine was back. Typical!
