How we can laugh* today at the idealism of the 1950s when folk dreamed of a car and how much freedom it would give them. Ford even ran a campaign called "Two Ford Freedom" ... worth a watch just for the sexist patronising tone alone.

So we can all sit in ferking traffic jams instead of watching live jazz ... i thought i would burst from the sense of freedom**
