Neahkahnie and Manzanita Beach

This is a picture of the beach that courts the shore of the tiny village of Neahkahnie and the slightly larger almost town of Manzanita, Oregon. I have been coming here for 45 years with my best friend of 55 yrs since her father built a cabin in the woods. Many changes and life experiences have I woven into my life since I first met this place but the cabin remains the same. The Milky Way misting across the sky in the middle of the night when you can't sleep and the sound of the waves softly roaring has always been my favorite lullaby. I am blessed to have this place to imagine when times are challenging. Thankfully, that's not very often! My needs aren't many :)
