Crying tree

D. and I walked Caspar through a nearby forest this morning. It was too hot to walk in the sun, shade was very necessary. (Temperature went up to 36-37°C this afternoon.)
This tree was leaking. I assume resin, but could have been water too. Perhaps the tree was weeping, sad because of the heat.
