Tewksbury Abbey

We traveled back home today and managed to see Chesterfield church with the crooked spire as we drove off.

On the way we stopped for lunch in Tewksbury. The centre has some delightful old buildings and a lovely Abbey. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay for the free concert in the Abbey that was due to start in 10 minutes time but had a quick look around beforehand.

It was a fairly straightforward journey and we arrived home mid afternoon. It’s good to be home and it’s also a few degrees cooler which is nice. It has been a very enjoyable trip.
