Forest and Sea, Light and Shade

We met Livia and Roger at the "Taste of India" in Sundsvall, for lunch.
Tomorrow Livia has a small operation preparing her for more serious cancer treatment. It was good that she felt able to talk about it all. Hopefully she won't feel too bad at stages of the treatment and we can be out and about a little in our camper vans. If you are supposed to be isolating but it's summer and you are fed up with the walls of your flats perhaps the camper van is an answer. On your own but out and about, and perhaps with friends nearby. We shall see!
Our next call was to one of two Fiat specialists in Norrland. Our "air-bag / safety belt" warning light is on, which presumably means the airbags won't work if we crash! We left our van, and a bag of money at the workshop. When we returned they told us we needed a new sensor, and they needed an even bigger bag of money to fix the problem. Ho hum... They were friendly and efficient and can fix the problem only 10 days from now, so we did the deal.
After that we were in need of a walk so we stopped at the nature reserve next to the airport to walk through the delta where the Indal river enters the sea.  It's a beautiful area with many trees but surrounded by water which means it's always bright if the sun is shining, which it was.
I couldn't decide which picture to put in as my main blip but Jan decided for me because her picture is rather similar to what is now my extra photo.
In the evening we zoom chatted with D and J until the early hours of July.
What a grand day it has been.
