Dough
Today immediately went skew-whiff when I slept in and didn't wake up till half 7. Then I was about to tidy clothes and shower when a call from KL meant a quick shower, dress and downstairs with a cup of tea.
The girls left school about a month ago and have been at 'daddy school' but that is suspended for this week as they have clothes to look out and get cleaned ready for the big holiday. Kitty is home but in the cage and is still not fully fit (lucky to be alive!) and the toe is healing but still giving problems. Not sure how hillwalking will fare.
The weather outside was gloomy and cold, such a change from yesterday, so just as well I'd already decided to have an admin morning. But that morning leeched into mid afternoon, nae bother at all.
There were numerous calls to #1 son about car insurance, which isn't going to work as they have Malaysian licences and rain jackets. Then there was some stuff to do for the apartment and Apex. I wrote minutes, signed a document, reviewed policies, submitted comments on the parking proposals for the Manor and finally sorted out the Companies House verification, which was less traumatic than I'd anticipated. That is a lot boxes ticked.
Went down to the Manor to see Mum, who is doing well. We sorted out clothes for later this month and I looked for a document I'd given Dad but couldn't find it but I found a lot of other interesting things.
Came home via Straiton and then home to order party ephemera. Tried to avoid the tv as it's full of politics and then tennis. Thought about a walk but I'd have had to put more clothes on so after disappearing down a rabbit hole of online dresses I made some sourdough dough and fed the tomato plants.
Can't think it'll be a late night.
