Appointment

I had a last minute appointment to see a consultant for a minor medical issue that I have today. I’ve been waiting for 18 months to be seen so jumped at the chance. The upshot is that I may or may not be on a different waiting list. Frustrating and I can’t help thinking this type of bureaucracy isn’t what the NHS is meant to be. Ah well progress of a sort. And the blip - a flower growing beside the path from the car park. Best thing about the day really.
