Pink Pop

After getting granddaughter Amelia to school by 9am, we continued on to Castle Coch on the outskirts of Cardiff (South Wales, UK) to do a cycle ride to Penarth to visit my dad.

The weather was 22C but felt hotter as it was so humid. After ninety minutes with my dad, we continued over Cardiff Bay Barrage where we stopped at The Pink Hut that overlooks The Severn Estuary. It's an iconic Cardiff scene, often photographed, so I've done it as a black and white with the hut (now a gym!) left as pink.

Mid afternoon we got home after our 20 mile cycle ride to find the temperature a lot hotter in The Wye Valley at 30 C.
