Lilies by moonlight
Not the title of my latest novel (although it sounds promising). Just a shot of, well, white lilies in my garden by moonlight. A bit of flash, not very subtle, but hey. It's a small camera.
Our daughter has been spending some time at home. Tomorrow, it's back to Edinburgh for Year 3 of History of Art. I'm trolling along for a bit - the festival and all that - then I'm back home. She stays. A little sad. She'll miss the dogs! But then, home for Christmas.
Hence the Sargent 'Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose' moment. http://www.tate.org.uk/art/artworks/sargent-carnation-lily-lily-rose-n01615
