Rocky Mountain Gold
A gentle ramble along the South Boulder Creek trail this afternoon.
The rain clouds never quite delivered, but the light stayed soft enough to let the greens glow. July’s grasses have tipped from fresh spring lime to that richer, almost honey-gold—just in time to catch a bit of breeze and lean toward the Flatirons. Hard to believe this view sits barely a mile from traffic and cafés. Sometimes Boulder still feels infinitely wide.
