Lily

A routine hospital appointment during the morning. The gardeners came today, but for a shorter time than usual. His children go to after school club, but today it has been cancelled because it is too hot, so he had to leave early to collect them. It was not too hot to go to school!
 
One of the today’s tasks was to sort out my bird feeding station and fit a new rat and squirrel dome. It might stop the rats, but the squirrels will also most certainly jump from the wall to the feeders. Maybe the new squirrel proof feeders will prevent the squirrels from stealing all the food; we shall see.
 
Today’s picture is another lily and one that had not flowered before.
