The Scott Memorial

This is always a great place to come to unwind after a busy day, a walk around Roath Park Cardiff is something I love.

In the middle there's the Scott memorial. In 1915 a lighthouse was constructed in the lake containing a scale model of the 'Terra Nova' ship to commemorate Captain Scott's ill-fated voyage to the Antarctic from Cardiff in 1910. In Cardiff bay there's another memorial to him but more modern,

I'm going to follow last weeks pattern and turn off my commenting until after the audit on Thursday I won't feel so guilty about being to busy to comment then :-)
