Singing

Backblip for Saturday 28/6. Wasn't sure if my knees would hold up, but decided to chance it and go to our community choir gig at St Wilfred's at Lidget Green this morning. It was a fundraiser for restoration, especially the roof. A lovely church - my quickly snapped photo as I left not doing it justice. I stood behind a chair so that I could hold on and move from leg to leg during the singing! We had an enthusiastic audience, and I loved the songs in our set lists. The last 2 "I will follow him" and "One Voice" went down particularly well. We had lunch in between our two sets, and apparently donations for the event totalled over £800. A lovely event.
