LOOKING DOWN
A view from the bedroom window of the white rose we inherited with the house, although at the time it was a poor straggly thing. Cutting it back almost to the ground each spring since seems to have done the trick and last year it blossomed like this until nearly the end of the year, so I'm hoping it'll be the same this year.
B had one of his diabetic screening appointments first thing and then I had to go out for a couple of hours this afternoon to practise with the care home choir. I'm glad we were sitting in a cool-ish room at the back of a pub and not actually performing in an overheated care home today. Tomorrow I'm out first thing for a 90 minute appointment at the dentist. I'm not looking forward to it.
