Monday: Too Darn Hot

Taken at 7.30pm when it was still 30 degrees.  I doubt we’re alone in feeling the heat!

At least we had the luxury of staying close to home as it really did feel too hot to do anything.  We had some work done on the front of our house - we’ve had the front wall rendered with a view to having it painted.  I pity Warren, who was doing the work, having to work outside in the sun.

Other than that, neighbour A came over this morning for tea and scones.  I know you’re all clamouring to know - yes, I did make the scones!
