Hottest Day of the Year

At least here where we live. I picked the morning to lift and reset some flagstones on the patio that had sunk during the winter. It seemed like a good idea but even by 10 o'clock clock the temperature was making things uncomfortable and I didn't finish until just before 1 pm.

I spent the rest of the day keeping as cool as possible, including watching Wimbledon and some amazing feats by British players. We have a clutch of new and upcoming professionals (and amateurs in one case) and it's good to see. Let's hope they encourage each other on to bigger and better things.
