Portraits from the golden altar
Towards the end of the Middle Ages a golden altar was delivered from Belgium to this, then, Catholic Church in Nordingrå, High Coast. Shortly thereafter the king changed the religion into the Lutheran Protestant line. Over time this Catholic Church turned into a ruin. The portrait you see is a copy from one of several portraits from that golden altar, photographed in the ruins of that church. What you see in the background is the newer Lutheran church. Oh well..
