Visit

Today, after sleeping in because I was (am) still tired from the past few weeks, I got into the office at 10:45. We were four, which became five when И arrived. Between then and mid-afternoon there was periodic fruitful discussion, mainly due to the presence of our developer M.

At lunch the five of us are with my dear colleague J, bringing him up-to-date with news from the recent conferences and workshops. At the end of the afternoon I left at the same time as И, in order to view a house she was interested in buying. She went on the bike she'd bought that morning, and I took two buses. Unfortunately the seller has already received a much larger offer than the bid price.

On my way to the bus I realised - thanks to Turf - that I was near this singular feature of South Edinburgh. Speculation as to its origin is on a sign next to it (see extra). I then completed my journey home, and cooked for A.
