Beautiful North Yorkshire

Popped over to Reeth to visit sister & brother in law today. Stopped off at Grinton to walk up the Swale with the dogs for a while to settle them.

It was a beautiful tree sheltered, shady path so absolutely perfect for the dogs on such a hot day.

It was a few degrees cooler there too than forecast at home so we were dodging the worst of the heat of the day - and spent at least 3 hours enjoying the aircon in the car.

Had a lovely picky bits lunch & afternoon tea and a good catch up.

Got home to 32 degrees - getting out of the car was like that blast of heat when you get off an aeroplane in a hot country - wow!!
