Day 2

Lovely time on the Swanage railway and a walk to the beach. On the way back to the car we walked through the graveyard and saw a number of war graves including a naval Victoria Cross recipient.

Then to Lulworth Cove for a mooch around the heritage centre and to marvel at the geology and the beautiful blue sea. This colourful guy was painting shells and stones and selling them.

Back to Yeovil for a wonderful curry. The curry house was hosting a competition for a handful of local guys trying to eat a specially prepared super-hot curry; a jolly jape until one had a bit of a funny turn at which point they restarted the aircon and started handing out lots of iced water.

Now we're home and planning tomorrow - I'd be surprised if trains didn't feature somewhere.....
