Coming back from doing an errand I called into Saxton Field hoping for a blip. The flooding at the weekend has brought a lot of gravel and mud down and changed the pond area.  There isn't a pond anymore it has changed into a wider stream bed.  I don't know if the council will come and dig it out.  The ducks were still happy swimming in the modified area.  In this part of the stream the Pukeko is standing on some muddy debris.  I liked the curve created as it preens.
