Gold mine

Bournemouth's weekend market has really taken off. It started with a couple of stands a couple of years ago(?). Today there were stands all the way from the bus stop through the Square and part of the way up Commercial Road. Mainly Street Food (from every corner of the globe - Poland, South Africa, Hungary, Brazil, Italy ..etc. (sugar cane juice - blipped). Doesn't appeal to me, but nevertheless, it's popular with youngsters and visitors. Gives a buzz and keeps the skateboarders away.

Of course we have the Christmas market which is always heaving. I stay away - crowded,, feels claustrophobic, lots of tat.

Walked down to the Pier, Lower Gardens, Centre. Primark for another USB chargeable fan (as a back up, in case the first one lost). Couldn't find. Assistant advised to look upstairs. They said they'd sold out, but offered to go and look in the stockroom. Meanwhile, another assistant overheard and said they'd moved them downstairs and went off to look for me.. Primark was really busy, they must've been walked off their feet. Impressive - who needs Harrods. And they found me a fan.

Due to get hot later, so returned home and have been watching the sickening news about Glastonbury :(
