A visit to Hemingford Abbots

This village is in Cambridgeshire. The Blip is a shot of the interior of the church which was the centrepiece of their flower festival. They hold the festival every 2 years to raise funds to maintain their church.

The event is very well organised. We travelled by coach, had lunch in the village hall and then spent time looking at the river and the many open gardens in the village. There were some very nice properties with well tendered gardens. A lovely day out in the summer warmth..

The extras are as follows
1. St.Margret's church
2. The Great Ouse river
3. and 4 two contrasting gardens
5. A typical village residence
6 a 1929 Sunbeam car.
