Nao Victoria - Scarborough

A full-size replica of the Spanish carrack Victoria, the first ship to successfully circumnavigate the world. Victoria was one of five ships that set out from Seville under the command of Ferdinand Magellan in 1519. She was the only ship to return home.

The replica is currently moored in hot and sunny Scarborough Harbour and was drawing the crowds.
