A magpie moth (apparently)
We had an excellent meal out with the neighbours last night at another new, to us, restaurant. I have no idea how these places keep going now the bills have risen so steeply.
We’ve been blessed with a cloudy day, although the sun is just starting to put in an appearance, so we’ve been able to sit out and do bits of gardening.
The jays must have young because there’s been a lot of squawking in the white willows over the back, but they are never close enough to photograph. We did have a juvenile green woodpecker on our tree this morning and, as I was sitting out, an adult dropped down four feet away but saw me and shot off.
The extra is of an orbweave spider on our green bin but I decided to use this tiny magpie moth as my choice of the day.
