The New Moon

After we had got back from Preuilly-sur-Claise where we had been for a bite to eat at a sort of ‘pop up’ eatery by the river and listening to live music for a couple of hours, we played cards on our terrace.

I’ve grudgingly agreed to play one game each evening whilst we’re here. We play cribbage and the score is three games each as it stands.

We also had ourselves a couple of small glasses of pastis whilst playing and watched the moon slowly move across the night sky.
