ST.OSWALD CHURCH

MERHABA MY FRIENDS

As requested by oldeng
..St. Oswald`s Anglican Church was built in 1904.
The Church is surrounded by street houses, a school and a business
center. Not a pleasant part of town. Every town has an area like this,
(run down). The Church is in need of repair in some parts, the bottom
row of windows have wire-mess covering them, to prevent them from
being broken. The surrounding grass area is in need of a gardeners touch.

I tried to enter (not for sanctuary) just to see if it was open, it was not,
8.30.a.m. maybe to early?. The Mosque, situated over the road, is open
dawn til dusk and anyone is welcome, as i`m sure the Church does too.

The `fence` around the Mosque is for show and to keep out vandals,
this must work, as they have not been any problems concerning
vandals . One blip does not do either building justice, they are both
very blipable. I hope this blip does in some way address the `balance`.

It does show that two different Religious buildings and communities
can live side by side...ish.
I am in no way `for` of `against` either religion, or any other.
If you have any queries...speak to your own `God`

TURK :)
