A View From Nyland Hill

After a second day working in the garden of Joel's Mum's house, all 3 lawns were mown to normal length, nettles and brambles cleared, shrubs and hedges cut back, you could actually see the house again and all 4 of us were absolutely exhausted!

The house (nearest to the foreground) nestles under Nyland Hill, which, a bit like Glastonbury Tor and Burrow Mump, sits like a large pimple on the Levels between Wells and Cheddar.

The Mendips are in the distance with Cheddar Gorge to the left; legend has it that the Devil made Nyland Hill out of the earth taken out from the Gorge.
