Watering duty

There was a brunch for the village today to raise funds for the village hall and church, the hosts are lovely and have a superb house and garden. 

We won a £30 voucher for a local pizza place, so i actually came home net for the money I spent there! 

So hot today, stupidly, we didn't make use of our neighbors pool which he has said we can use any time, so tomorrow - another scorcher shall see us pop next door to cool off!!

Stamford this afternoon for watering duty. We took our Skottle so we could stay for dinner - scrummy, simple, sausages, asparagus and lovely bread. Everyone happy and plants watered by the eldest (not that ever does it at home!!).
