Indulgence…

…a millionaires iced latté with cream each.

We had a plan for today. After the plasterer had finished some rendering work on the outside of the house prior to decoration, we’d look at roller blinds for the conservatory. (Long story)

8 hours later he finished which left little time for the plan. But phoning to see what time the salesperson would be available at the venue, a garden centre, we learnt no-one is there at the weekend anyway.

I’m very glad I phoned. But let’s go see anyway. Rather disappointing and we learnt little from what was there. Back on Monday then.

We sat outside at a very empty venue and enjoyed our drink. Sad it had to be rushed though. The young staff were clearing up around us probably after a long and very hot day.

We sat out in the garden reading and haven’t long come in.
