Unexpected lazy day

Today should have been the start of another assessment, but one candidate cried off first thing and one was a total no show (checked, they're fine, just flakey). I felt awful for the one who did bother to turn up as the course needs a minimum of two people to run. Not my rule and not one I can bend or break. C took it really well and we had a leisurely breakfast before heading our separate ways.

The one silver lining was it was truly vile in Cumbria today - no heat wave for us, so couch, book and cuddles were the order of the day.
