Low cloud on the Rest

Driving both ways over the Rest and Be Thankful today, there was low cloud each time, and a lot of water coming off the hill.

In this you can just see some of the works that have been done further up the slope over the past few years , which are designed to catch debris as it slides downwards.

Now there is engineering work taking place to prepare for the installation of a roof over the patr to the road most prone to landslips.
